Cloud 1210 Report post Posted February 19, 2014 Let's assume the government either does nothing or implements the Nordic Model (I wonder if she's blonde). From my understanding, procuring for the purposes of prostitution is still illegal. If that's true then how could you open a brothel? You wouldn't be able to hire anyone! Nevada hires their brothel workers as independent contractors. With careful wording, I guess hiring could be done. Otherwise an undercover officer could go for an interview and arrest them for procuring.
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted February 19, 2014 http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_discussillegal Don't think it's a good idea to discus, right now it's illegal, who will offer advice on doing something illegal, irrespective of if the law changes and it becomes legal Ask the question if and when the law changes, not now while it's illegal RG

"Careful" wording is just BS - it's not a good thing to do. We all enjoy certain freedoms in this genre, but to suggest, bequest or request sex trade business outside legality is not acceptable. Don't do it on this site!
Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted February 19, 2014 If you need to ask this, you probably should go towards another career:( Is not as " easy peasy" as one might think. Do your research, get a lawyer , read the site rules.
jafo105 39057 Report post Posted February 19, 2014 (edited) I think you need to better educate yourself on Canada's procuring laws. Consult a lawyer if you are unclear of what it says and how to interpret it. Procuring section 212 (1): It is illegal to influence a person who is not a sex worker to become a sex worker, whether inside or outside Canada. Communication for the purposes of prostitution section 213: It is illegal for a sex worker and client to talk openly in public about exchanging money for sex. Public places include vehicles, parking lots, restaurants/bars, hotel lobbies, streets, or any place that the public has access to or that the public can view. A non-public place would be a hotel room, apartment or house (apartments and homes can be at risk through the bawdy house laws). It is also illegal to stop or attempt to stop or impede motor or pedestrian traffic. ____________________ Reference: http://canadasprostitutionpolitics.blogspot.ca/ http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/Search/Search.aspx?txtS3archA11=prostitution&txtT1tl3=%22Criminal+Code%22&h1ts0n1y=0&ddC0nt3ntTyp3=Acts http://recherche-search.gc.ca/rGs/s_r?cdn=canada&st=s&num=10&langs=eng&st1rt=0&s5bm3ts21rch=x&q=prostitution&wb-srch-sub=#wb-land Edited February 19, 2014 by jafo105
