Cato 160314 Report post Posted February 8, 2010 Impressive, Bella. I'd like some lessons, please, when we meet.
Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Thanks Cato for starting this interesting thread. I found the results so far very interesting really (I was not able to give you rep points for this as I have to spread it around:cry:). The fact that some 40% of people voted speak two languages surprised me since I realized that this thread is NOT in the Ottawa section (which would not have been a surprise since ottawa/Gatineau is more billingual than eveywhere else in Canada) but in the general section (which means everywhere in Canada). Going back to the subject of the thread, I speak, write and read two languages very fluently and can to some extend speak/undertand a third one as well. I voted for 2 though as the question in the poll was about how many languages one can speak or read competently.
Newton 714 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 Persian princess! No wonder I found Bella a touch of exotic beauty. Being politically correct, I didn't mention it in the reco. Bella does have an air of royalty. ;) Posted via Mobile Device

Malika Fantasy 144625 Report post Posted February 9, 2010 I did vote 4. French, English and Spanish(more reading though). And I can read/write in gaelic, but prononce it...my French jaws doesn't allow me to.
