BiggieMcMan 100 Report post Posted March 20, 2014 Anyone ever heard of this? http://kingston.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/let-me-be-the-one-to-add-some-spice-in-your-life-booking-nowavailable-now-23/21415600 Her pics didn't show up on tineye, but she wanted me to join some cam website and deposit $25. Felt like a scam, so I didn't book. Anyone seen this girl, or anything like this before?
kyledetlor 310 Report post Posted March 20, 2014 she looks like she is worth the deposit but I would not do it. I have never seen her in Kingston so I wouldn't trust her unless someone can verify that she is legit.
Meaghan McLeod 179664 Report post Posted March 20, 2014 This is becoming more and more common - they get you to pay a deposit to cam - but you have no way of knowing if they are actually in your city. After you pay, they then say "no compatable" and you are out the money. I wouldn't chance it.
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted March 20, 2014 The only time I would pay a lady in advance is if she is reputable and trustworthy. Ladies on CERB that have a board presence helps establish trust before you see them. Sorry but BP doesn't, at least for me, help a lady establish a reputation or develop trust. I would pass on paying in advance in this type of situation if it were me RG
Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted March 20, 2014 It's a scam, one of the oldest ones around and it's practically effortless on the part of the scammer, at 25$ a pop they can make quite abit in a short period of time. Never give anyone any money in advance that you've nver heard of or dealt with previously and even then you should still be cautious. Check the diary out here http://www.cowboysdiary.info/wordpress/?cat=5 for a wack of cam scams and how they're played out. Keep in mind too it's not just being out 25 bucks but you've given the scammer lots of information that they can use to compromise your identity. 99% chance they aren't even in Kingston, easy way to check is to ask them where they are staying, they'll likely use a common name like a days inn or holiday inn, if they've done their research they might even know the address. Best way to catch them in a lie is to ask then if they are staying at the new one on such and such street, where you know there isn't one, most of the time they will say they are at the new one because it's new and perceived to be better, trust me this works every time I've challenged a cam scammer. Keep in mind too that they will place many adds in many cities at the same time for the same phone number so they don't always have time to look up the details so they will just go along with whatever you say. If you have to do anything more than leave the donation in an envelope then you are about to be ripped off plain and simple.
