You will note in the list below that Saudi Arabia allows marriage with girls as young as 8 - with a husband in his late 50's. For example: Africa - It ranges from age 12 in Angola to age 20 in Tunisia. The age of consent in Bahrain is 21. The Penal Code of Bangladesh considers 14 years as the age of consent. In Hong Kong the age of consent for sexual activity is 16 for heterosexual couples. India's age of consent for sex is 18. The national age of consent in Japan is 13. The age of consent in Russia is 16. Any kind of sexual activity outside marriage is illegal in Saudi Arabia, but there is no restriction on the age of marriage. For instance, in 2008 a Saudi court refused to annul a marriage between an 8-year-old girl and a 58-year-old man. The age of consent in Syria is 15. The age of consent in Albania is 14.
