Lustful1961 382 Report post Posted May 1, 2014 I remember when I first started going to the parlors, the days before Portage Place. if I recall, Kennedy St was a hot bed with several parlors (Playgirl studio comes to mind) then the old porn theater on Sargent used to have a massage at the front of the theater. I think it was there that I had my first ever he! There was also one at the corner of Broadway and Donald, I think that may have been the original Broadways, and another just past the train overpass on North Main Anyone else remember these places? cinelli 22184 Report post Posted May 2, 2014 The oldest I remember was Club Forum and Rainbow. Old phone books at the library would probably have lots of "interesting" ads for those places. But I only moved here in 85. In Vancouver I remember lots of little hole-in-the-wall place back in the seventies. My first was Club Paris or something like that on Homer by Pender, wow. Then did the original Swedish Touch on Howe a few times, it was just like Broadway's.
wildstallion 1819 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 Rainbow and 222 are probably the oldest I remember but Jesse's is probably my all time favourites.
Sixpak 3780 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 Anyone remember Science on Ellice ... same building as a Daycare!!! Took a couple of years before the public got rid of it because of being in the same building, but there were some great attendants there and there was never any upselling. This is where CindyFF started... the other ladies hated her cuz she was so aggressive ... even came into the room to seduce me when my session with a hot spinner was done and I was getting dressed ... the others were ready to lynch her. From there she went to 222 where she was again hated by the other ladies.

Lustful1961 382 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 I had the same thing happen to myself, saw a co worker moonlighting at EB, had some great times with her, and it was always fun to see her at work as well, we found some interesting spots to do things there too! I forgot about Scientific, I went there many times, didn't care much for 222 though

Guest b**t**e Report post Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Was 222 the place on Sherbrook that has since been torn down? It was close to Broadway, near the fondue place and laundromat. I went there once and saw an amazing, tight little blond. Edited May 7, 2014 by b**t**e spelling

young60 1118 Report post Posted May 7, 2014 Yes the good old days..before internet, before cell phones, reasonable pricing, before crazy police crackdowns., before huge influx of touring girls ...there was 6 or 7 Mp's in town and each place almost always had 2 or 4 girls per shift that were 8-9's across the board, sprinkled in with a few 10's! Street girls were street girls and stayed out of the MP's for the most part , and there were even 8's out on the street. However there were only a handfull of indy's back then as well. Fantastic times!! sigh..the good old days! Still a few gems out there , but harder to find, and most of them are seasoned pro's which is awesome , however it seems most of the new girls have no clue about having a successful business, and dont last very long. Jesse's had to be one of the coolest..I remember sitting in that chair as the door would slide open and the girls would introduce...then following them up the stairs...MMmmmmmmmmmmmm..memories!! Sixpak 3780 Report post Posted May 7, 2014 Originally Posted by Sixpak This is where CindyFF started I remember her from 222 but didn't know she worked before that. She was no shrinking violet LOL When Cindy went indy and had an apartment close to the Fort Garry hotel she hired a young blonde receptionist who she let participate in duos sometimes. Only sometimes because Cindy did not like it if the client spent too much time with the duo partner. This blonde receptionist (what was her name?) was fired I think later by Cindy, but the blonde went on to manage 222 and she was running the place when it was shut down by police ... I think there was a lot of drug traffic going on during her management. Best part, the very 'bestest' part about 222 was that it was open until 4 am ... what a great feature!! Sure there would be a police car sitting on Broadway close to the Esso gas station across the street making sure there was no problem but they never bothered anyone until the drug sales at 222 had to be dealt with. I blame the blonde manager (who also provided sessions) and her bf for causing the shut-down. The young lady who managed it before her was awesome ..sort of plain looking, always dressed like an innocent outdoor person, provided the odd session but would let me stay a few hours after closing at 4 with her after everyone left ... very sensual sessions!!! 222 was a great break from university studies late at night or after leaving the bar! Those were the days. She would let me know when there was a new lady just starting. I think a few clients valued those days a lot. Seem to remember that Rainbow was also open very late. Just before it closed the management 'team' seemed to have a new person added who would show up late to look around and had a black vicious looking doberman wearing a spike dog collar ...very creepy and it was so dark inside that building, stairs would creak loudly ...lol. A different experience being naked with a hottie is a creepy mansion late at night! The way things are today there would probably be way too many problems with parlours staying open that late. Too bad!
cinelli 22184 Report post Posted May 7, 2014 Sad to say the neighbourhoods that 222 and Rainbow were in are very dangerous places to be in at 4am now. I used to live on Wellington Crescent and would walk up to 222 late at night. Wouldn't dream of doing that now.
jondalar 210 Report post Posted May 8, 2014 I may be out of topic here, but are there any parlors open beyond 11pm these days?
cinelli 22184 Report post Posted May 8, 2014 EB is not, don't know about Broadways or Nevada. At EB you have to start a session before 10 so they can close up right after 11.
Sixpak 3780 Report post Posted May 8, 2014 I may be out of topic here, but are there any parlors open beyond 11pm these days? BW closes at 11 pm Nevadas also closes at 11 pm, even earlier if clients are not showing up some evenings, During Jets games in the evenings both places have been very quiet and many of the ladies just leave - especially at Nevadas, so they close early. EB sticks to their regular hours.
manrock 1879 Report post Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) 222 was my fav. Jessie always felt a little weird to me. Don't know why. There used to be one on Cumberland same block as Calvery temple. Always had good sessions with the one on main that got shut down after the police standoff. But the walkers back in the day on high track low track and low stroll those were the days. Lustful1961 382 Report post Posted May 11, 2014 I always wondered what happened to the high track, I had moved away and when i came back it was gone, I guess the same happened with the low track by the Mt. Royal as well
rexx 531 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 I may be out of topic here, but are there any parlors open beyond 11pm these days? A couple of years ago you could arrange something late at Moonlight the girls could come in anytime they wanted
cinelli 22184 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 I always wondered what happened to the high track That whole area used to be lively at night. There were bars, restaurants, that ragpicker clothes place, the poster store...now it is dead. There is nothing in downtown. Portage Place is full of empty stores. There used to be lots of cinemas downtown, they are all gone. Unless you are going to see the Jets there is no reason to go downtown anymore.
mrgreen760 37785 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 We used to eat at Chopin's a lot in those days and on freezing nights the owner allowed the high end stroll girls to come in for a coffee and to warm up and every one was cool with it. It was pretty colorful and fun area back on the day. Peace MG
