The cops say as long the girls advertise their services on craig, they are going to be there to take em down. That is like a slap in the face for us and a cat and mouse game for the cops. That sucks. I don't want to be one of the girls who is visited by a cop and gets walked out of the hotel room in cuffs, accompanied by TV crews. mod 135640 Report post Posted August 13, 2007 So far this is US only (being arrested) but craigslist is making it a rule globally to not allow pro's ads on the site... I would assume that you can expect a system update that will either immediately ban the post or at least flag it for review if it looks like a pro's ad. Up here in Canada it's more the street solicitation and pimping that ends up in handcuffs... and the bylaw officers in some cities like to act like cops and hand out silly bylaw tickets (Like parking tickets - as they are meter maids for escorts, massage parlors and strip clubs) but I have never heard of handcuffs being used by a bylaw officer... you never know however....
