Also, a provider may not want to deal with a client who is under the influence of drugs. It might be best to find a provider, develop mutual trust and ask in a private environment. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to debate the legalities of pot or to project a moral, ethical, religious or conservative view. Just simply stating common sense. I like to go into a session making memories, with a clear head and and a head full of focus and attention. I don't think I am alone in that, either!
