frederictonman 3599 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 Over the last few months I have noticed that there are fewer and fewer discussion threads, and even fewer recommendations being written on our nb page. I know there are quite a few of us not comfortable in posting publicly on here, but if we all don't do our part this discussion board will loose trafic with the lack of content. I promise from this point forward to do my part, and encourage you all to post questions in the discussion board, and even more so recomendations for any of these lovely ladies. The more reco's we have the fewer questions people will post about if they are legit or not. I will give credit where credit is due and thank Sophia from Suite escapes for Megan McLeod for posting regularly and answering any questions people might have. Let's all give a little time to this site. It's a valuable tool for everyone if we all do our part.
IslandHobbiest 289 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 I don't really understand why people don't write reviews either! It isn't as if our names are posted anywheres. Then again I haven't written any reviews yet..... I'll post some today (In the PEI threads)
Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 Not from NB but there are all kinds of reasons why guys don't post. In particular u will only post a review if the lady and I have discussed it and she is ok with reviews some SP's like them some don't. In regards to the general posts to the NB area it looks to me to be kinda similar to the NL section with very little interaction amongst the Hobbiests.... many are active in the general section but not so much in the regional section. Threads that have started with a few exceptions tend to get only a few replys... I'm not sure if that is because we tend to live in smaller communities so there is a feeling of greater risk of our true identify coming out.... Just my opinion
CristyCurves 169032 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 It certainly is a good reminder:) But possibly the reason for lack of posts is simply a lack of N.B. members. Yours is a less populated province, as you know, a couple hundred thousand less even than Nova Scotia , so maybe that's why? But no matter the reason if a gent enjoyed his time with a woman it certainly is beneficial for her, and others, as you mentioned, and if she is open to it, to have a review printed. It's also beneficial for gents to post to give us (sp's) a glimpse into their personality, likes, dislikes, etc and it also may give us a sense of security when they decide to book with us. The more a gent is known here the less concern he'll cause when wanting an encounter. Win win:)
Warped88 5815 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 In the few months I've been active here, I've seen a fair amount of NB users pop in to ask the odd question, but they're not active on the boards otherwise. The issue then, is how to get them to become active? Honestly, I don't believe there is anything that can be done. As someone said, the reasons for not posting are many and I doubt one can be convinced to do otherwise once they've decided not to. It's the nature of the "hobby": a careful walk along the line between light and shadow. A small portion of hobbyists don't mind stepping into the light a little to participate. The majority of them, though, will always choose to remain in the shadows. And when you factor in our smaller population, it's not much of a surprise to me that things aren't hoppin' in here. So, yeah, I'd love more active users (and providers) here, but I just don't think it will ever happen to a large degree.
IslandHobbiest 289 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 I just posted a few reviews (PEI section)! Thanks again for the reminder. Yes the maritimes is a small place, but it is still almost untraceable to finding out who is who. I know it is always on the back of your mind, but it is safe unless you let something slip. Thankfully I am not tied down so I have nothing to worry about :)
WriteOn 3250 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 As others have mentioned, there aren't a lot of members from NB and there just isn't that much activity, sure there are touring ladies from time to time but outside of that there just isn't much happening here. Good on those who keep the NB forums active.

Thankfully I am not tied down so I have nothing to worry about :) I agree. :) But, my point was that whether it's safe or not to post regularly is irrelevant. If someone perceives a threat to their privacy (and the fear of letting something "slip" would be enough), then that's what matters. Like I said, it's just the nature of the average hobbyist's mindset. In my opinion, anyway. Regardless, thanks for adding your recommendations and such! :)
freddigirl 1181 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 I think all hobbyists have the one go to girl. Their little secret that they want too keep a secret. I find it humorous that I only meet CERB members but never through CERB. Only when I advertise on somewhere else will someone make a serious inquiry. Than when I dont see a recommendation I think to myself. "Okay, I am doing something wrong here." Than a week or two will go by and the same person makes another appointment. I do read other boards, one doesn't even have the maritimes section because of low traffic. Its not like people are not touring out here hahaha. You get what you put in. Everynow again you might have to be the one who takes the plunge. Or take one for the team. Someone out there miggt appreciate it more than you think. Or maybe no one wants to know they had a bad time.
mchrissy2 329 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 Only when I advertise on somewhere else will someone make a serious inquiry. CERB is my go to place and I tend to write reviews - but I follow the suggestion......unless I have something nice to say....I refrain (No negative comments)....and if the lady prefers I don't review, I refrain. I do not go to other boards, in particular BP - it's not generally reliable (had good and bad experiences there) - CERB has been pretty consistent and the opportunity to flag issues and to check with other hobbiests helps.

Do these guys understand that this is the lady's livelihood and by keeping her a "secret" only means more chance she will leave this profession because she can't get enough of a client base to sustain herself business wise. Or does this client plan to support the lady financially 24/7 365 days a year I for one enjoy my encounters with the ladies I see, and post recommendations of my encounters, because it is my way of giving a public thank you to the lady, and letting gentleman know of a great companion, plus hopefully maybe sending some clients the lady's way. I also noticed the ladies are happy providing me a reference to see other companions, they don't have any jealousy or possessiveness This is a poly amorous lifestyle. Jealousy and possessiveness do not belong here. We should all strive to support one another, ladies and gent's alike, unless you can't support someone (ie bad client or poor SP) A rambling RG

roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 While I generally agree and I do post reviews... not all SP'S like the whole review process so i always ask 1st....i have been surprised at the number who have not had an interest. Just my opinion. I'm not arguing the point of SP's not wishing recommendations. I have had encounters with some ladies who wish to keep encounters private and I too respect their wishes if they choose not to have a recommendation (not a review) written. Recommendations after all are written for the lady's business and if she prefers nothing written that has to be respected. That is why each and every recommendation I have written from the very first one I wrote first was seen by the lady for her yay or nay. I never post, nor never have posted a recommendation without the lady's OK. BTW that doesn't mean I post false recommendations, they are all true accurate reflections of my dates with the ladies, just they get OK'd by the lady before posting But I am talking about those guys who don't write recommendations because they think somehow keeping the lady they saw their little secret is a good thing. Why keep a lady a secret? That is counter-productive for this lifestyle Anyhow, a morning rambling RG

Personally I think it's better to have multiple sources. I don't think it is good to rely on one site. Yes, BP can be unreliable but if you see a girl there you can cross reference other sites and possibly you might find she has a good reputation, it has happened to me and I'm sure others. I will give credit where credit is due and thank Sophia from Suite escapes for Megan McLeod for posting regularly and answering any questions people might have. Let's all give a little time to this site. It's a valuable tool for everyone if we all do our part. I agree with all the posts that suggest our small population and folks being sheepish about sharing info for fear of their identity becoming known are possible reasons for the inactivity here. As a hobbiest in 'lil old NB if I'm "cruising" for information I find this sight helpful however others are helpful as well (at least in terms of advertising volume) and a number of SP's certainly don't advertise here exclusively. I'd say that I view the advertisements in NB most often, Courtesan / Escort Discussion would be number 2 , Bait and switch #3 and reviews #4 ...- This would also mimic closely the rate of each having something new listed ... but additionally I'd think it is indicative of what I find useful - Strictly speaking. As far as the remainder of the discussion boards (non local) ... I occasionally browse / lurk and perhaps participate. Perhaps it becomes a question of my (and other's) perceived belonging in this community ... if one is a golf enthusiast they likely post on a golf message board, fly fishing, cooking, automobile restoration, gaming etc ... the same thing. To the OP's specific question I don't know if I'd agree that the rate of reviews, and fewer discussion threads has become a trend ..... there was never many of either and the question and answer outside of is X person legit / any info type questions has rarely had much content .... Although I salute Sophia and others (yourself included) for trying to change this. Aside from the thoughtful reasoning that has been discussed already I'm going to offer an additional train of thought. CERB is a recommendation board, not a review board (I know I know Thank you captain obvious) but as such any Review is going to be a good one. Personally I have to be blown away to consider posting a review (Katie I still owe you one lol) because regardless of the experience ... really we only talk publicly here about positive experiences. I'm not harping or questioning CERB rules ... and I understand totally the concept of YMMV. I'm just saying that generally speaking -- I'd definitely repeat is a different genuine feeling and motivation from no complaints, but I likely won't repeat or I'd repeat circumstantially if a new experience wasn't available to me at the time etc. and of course Clearly it's intuitive that people would never post a recommendation for a negative experience. I can see the value of being positively reviewed on CERB would hold for a sp's business and reputation. I can also see and have experienced reviews being useful for a hobbyist to help "screen" potential experiences with a SP. Frederictonman I'm not sure your contention that more reco's would reduce the amount of "is she legit" type of questions is correct ... and while I'd agree that it would be nice if our board was more active, I don't think a reduction of "is she legit" type of questions is necessarily what the members (all CERB members) would find useful. What I mean is that as mentioned here already NB is a small place ... not all SP's are on CERB, so that means a discussion board specifically designated as courtesan / escort discussion can be useful for hobbyists to ask those questions of other CERB members. There is an often repeated inference that people should be careful with "some" folks that advertise somewhere else where things are more sketchy -- or less vetted. (occasionally this inference is from members here who themselves advertise at these sketchy places) ... in any event a place to ask "is she legit" seems like a option / service that would be popular with would/could-be clients and I think that it has proven popular judging by the relative amount of those type of questions posted. Now some may argue that those posts are viewed but rarely responded to, so what's the value of a short, generic thread that typically goes unanswered? That's not a bad question however I'd submit many of those posts might generate PM traffic and possibly become defacto review threads amongst hobbyists interested in the answers who share information without breaking any site rules. Highsexdrivebabe 11800 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Hello mostly gentlemen here on this thread for this is somewhat directed to U! Whenever I have a nice to VERY nice gentleman visit me and if I forget to tell him I do provide a reference for him and whether he approaches me afterwards for it of if for some reasons it's directly the SP asking me about him I am glad to provide it. Now, don't ask me why' I can't ask for a reco so the ones I have here (which R great and I cherish in my a little over 6 months biz) came from gentlemen that did it on their own not asking me whether if they could or should, etc... I deeply appreciate (Ice4fun) asking whether the lady likes it or not but would also like gentlemen to just cum up and if they R really satisfy with a lady's service to just propose it to her and I am sure many will be happy to hear the gentleman was happy with her great service! And thanks to my special ones who did post a review on me and U Ice4fun for asking but also posting and U Roaminguy and all of U gentlemen doing it! U make our SP lives so much better and make us ladies want to work harder at providing U an excellent experience and companionship!!!! Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted May 20, 2014 On the subject of posting Reco's... Please be sure when you are posting reco's, that you are not bumping another one off if it has only been there for couple hours. It is something I have witnessed for me and for others. I would have to truthfully say it is upsetting when you finally get a reco to see it get bumped off after only 1 hour! This occurred with me several times. Once a reco was bumped from someone who was not even in this city or province! The author was not here, nor was the lady. I am sure it was posted with the only reason to bump mine off:( So before you post it, look at when the other ladies reco was posted, if it just got there, then maybe you can hold off for a day or at least give her a few hours in the limelight. As we know, not many here in NB that do post, so once we do get a reco it is nice to see it there for a while, it is just respect and hard earned. On another note, I actually am pleased with the volume of posters in recent months. Keep it up:)
