acco34 1223 Report post Posted June 11, 2014 WOW, 8 pages on a questioned that really can't be answered by anyone here unless you are an SP that advertises no black men. The only way to get this is answer is to ask every lady that advertises this restriction because only they know the real answer and everyone of them propably has a different reason, some good and I'm sure some not so good of a reason. End of the day it is the ladies choice who she will see and who she doesn't want to see. Just my 2 cents worth.
craig101 3213 Report post Posted June 11, 2014 a little story about Tom.... During the course of his life Tom has had some issues with purple skinned people. He was once robbed by a purple skinned person and then many years later he was assaulted by a purple skinned person. Although Tom realizes that not all purple skinned people are bad he can't help but treat them differently and is more careful with them. Tom is free to think and live his life as he likes but... Tom is racist Here is a part of the racism definition. Note the last line. Racism consists of both prejudice and discrimination based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. It often takes the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities. It may also hold that members of different races should be treated differently.[1][2][3]
05loner85 600 Report post Posted June 16, 2014 Hello again, I'm not quite sure who gave us the definition of RACISM but within the definition there are highlighted words. I didn't follow them, instead I looked up PREFERENCE. In this definition it mentions the right to choose as well which I found interesting was sexual preference. It spoke of the homosexual, heterosexual and another one that I forget (wouldn't let me copy and paste). Oh bisexual. What I found interesting was the fact that these terms also fit into this whole discussion. I love women and only women. Now picture this, I'm a male escort (a few of you ladies actually said I should be, :)). I write in my profile "NO HOMOSEXUAL OR BISEXUAL". Just the fact that I wrote that it makes me "RACIST" by definition alone. So am I or am I not? Now I have nothing against homosexual or bisexual. Some of my friends are including people on this site. That is called PREFERENCE, not and I emphasize "NOT" racism. My two sense are write whatever you want, it is your right to do so. I spent over 29 years following in my Grandfather's footsteps to uphold our way of life. I for one, see nothing wrong with what was said. You want to see racism, go to a country where the population hates you just because your there and no I'm not talking the fancy resorts that I know some of you go too. I'm talking out in the country side where it's dangerous and is strongly advised not to go and only go places with tour guides. There's a reason people carry guns. My two cents, actually my twoonie's worth. Rob aka loner.
Guest jrose Report post Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) I wonder - the thought of connecting the race to requests for "pimping" has come up several times, and while I'm sure not every black man has asked about pimping, perhaps we have it backwards. What if, while not 100 % of black clients have asked to represent her, 100 % of clients who have asked to represent her have been black? So in the SP's experience every time that question has come up, it's come up from a black client, and to avoid that situation she lets her preference be known. Flip it around if you found that every bald client aged 35 to 40 was a perfect date who tipped an amount equal to half the session would not not look for that type of client :) Edited June 16, 2014 by jrose

Miss/Sir : I will use your own number of 100% to show how easily numbers can be used to deceive the unwary and so cause these to behave in some desired way. Let us suppose that an escort has seen fifty clients of whom one is a black man and that it is only this black man who has asked to be her pimp. Then, we can make the statement that 100% of the black men she has seen want to be her pimp: ( 1/1 x 100 = 100%) You see how meaningless the figure of 100% is? It is so because it is based on only 1 black man ( not even considering the number of escorts). You employed the number 100% to strenghthen your argument and so make the maximum impact on cerbites. Your analysis is no different from a newspaper headline that screams that gun-related homicides has increased 100% over two successive years. Such a headline is needlessly alarmist and I bet that the number of people who are alarmed on seeing it will drop sharply when they actually read the accompanying article and see the raw numbers of 1 and 2 deaths for those years in a city of population half a million. Be careful in your statistical analysis; always make sure that they rest on a solid foundation before passing the conclusions you draw from them as fact. Regards.

I agree with your comments above 100 % (there's that number again). If we go forward assuming the reason was what I suggested, then I can only hope it's based on a higher number than interactions with a single client. I offered my suggestion only as a alternative side to the conversation and points in the thread. In the long run of course we can debate the why, but it really is all up to the SP in question. Working in an industry that relies too much, some times, on numbers I completely understand the value of a comparison. I also know how if you put enough work into it you can make numbers mean anything you like, and working with %'s makes it even easier. Cheers!

Right on Loner, it's one thing for folks to bicker over the meaning of, or incidences of racism, but what you describe regarding your out of country experience is called racial realism. kmwq 5477 Report post Posted June 28, 2014 Someone might have already said this but I'm not interested in reading this stupid threat. It is NOT racist, it's a preference. Let's move on!
Exotic Touch Danielle 31731 Report post Posted June 29, 2014 We all have a preference and have every right to have that....there is nothing at all wrong with that We all work in ways we feel comfortable and if for whatever reason an SP doesnt book with a black man then hey move on and book.with one that will That's NOT.racist What is racist is saying black men smell and have a reputation for pimping women put I find that very disturbing and ignorant I am very sorry if any SP was in that situation and I'm sure it was uncomfortable but to say all black men have the same character is 100% wrong And that is my opinion

craig101 3213 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 Someone might have already said this but I'm not interested in reading this stupid threat. It is NOT racist, it's a preference. Let's move on! You won't read anything in this thread yet you post expecting people to read your comments? Sounds fair. You also say lets move on but this thread had pretty much died and was dormant for 11 days until you posted. Kind of ironic. BTW having a preference based solely on race is racism. There have been some good posts here by members explaining how its possible in some cases that ladies are not being racist but it can't be a excuse for the many adds that we see everyday.
lipualipua 4704 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 You also say lets move on but this thread had pretty much died and was dormant for 11 days until you posted. Kind of ironic. Craig, some people's thought processes are difficult to fathom and kmwq, in this particular instance, is just one example. After Gabriella had diplomatically and skillfully shut down the thread, here comes kmwq, AFTER 11 DAYS, to reopen it and complain that he hates that same thread! If kmwq was rational when he reopened that thread, then he clearly had an ulterior motive. Seldom have I come across such irrational thought but then the person with an ulterior motive never lets an opportunity escape them to vent their thoughts even if they will sound infantile in the process. Cheers.
all-in 300 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 I'm still puzzled as to what ulterior motives hobbyists can possibly have for sharing their opinions or relating what they've been told by SPs in this thread. There's nothing to be gained. I guess I could see ulterior motives in reassuring young naive SPs into letting their guards down, but thats a stretch, right lipua?
