rileydaniels 1901 Report post Posted March 15, 2010 I have been thinking about working with an agency, makes me wonder if its even possible since in the past I have been told alot of discouraging things from agencies of how I wouldn't make any money because of skin tone and etc. I believe I provide the best service I can to my clients, and I enjoy my work and I work really hard, being independent has its high and low points just like anything else but sometimes it nice to have the agency to be there for the advertising and transportation. arianne 1426 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 Have you tried approaching Exquisite - (Vanessa is wonderful woman) or Garden of Eden (Nicole - another great lady). Both very reputable agencies.
rileydaniels 1901 Report post Posted March 23, 2010 I have approached alot of agencies, they do not want anything to do with me because of a comment I made in December about agencies being glorified pimps. so I will be finding a way to make being an independent escort a success as much as possible. rileydaniels 1901 Report post Posted March 23, 2010 I do not like to travel, so I will stay in Toronto and be independent.
Andee 220524 Report post Posted March 23, 2010 I am wondering why you even considered going agency when you're independent already. I know the market is competitive in Toronto, but I still believe you would fare much better on your own, don't you think?
rileydaniels 1901 Report post Posted March 23, 2010 I just became indie June 2009, of course in the start it was great I was making good money, seeing about 3 clients a week. I thought I was on top of the world. then of course now for the past 2 months business has been slow and I am not sure how to turn things around. Alot tell me it will soon pick up which I greatly hope so. (Yes I have tried to find a striaght job for over a year and nothing), I would love to go school and start takng somthing in college but that is not in the cards for me right now. With all the agencies and independents in toronto it's pretty hard to find a way to stand out. plus this whole being independent is very new to me and something I am learning as I go along. I did make a post before of why I am going to tough it out being independent and not try and find an agency. so it just a learning experience right now.
