spud271 47779 Report post Posted July 30, 2014 Oh I can't wait!!! When I was in both London (England) and Edinburgh last week, there was a giant Dr. Who poster at Heathrow Airport and one in Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. The show has so much sentimental meaning to so many people in the UK that we tend to get a wee bit excited when the new series is coming!

Midnite-Energies 110563 Report post Posted July 30, 2014 They are having special in theater screenings for the new premiere. They did the sane thing for Day of the Doctor. Extra features. . Encourage people to dress up. It's all over the world. Awesome event. I know there were many in Canada. The Doctor Who website and blog updates as theater showings are added.

spud271 47779 Report post Posted August 2, 2014 I'll be curious to see how people feel about Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. From the preview, he tends to remind me of the earlier Doctors, rather than the direction the last three have gone in. Jenna Coleman seems to have already gained a decent following back home as the Doctor's companion. I'm really looking forward to this!!!
