craig101 3213 Report post Posted September 2, 2014 The OP is asking if a provider has birthday specials. He's not asking for a freebie. He has only 4 posts to his credit, so some allowance could be considered for the "newbie" factor. The beauty of this industry, is that each provider can choose to run his / her business exactly as it best suits him / her. Be it rates, screening requirements, services provided...or anything else. Consider for a moment, that the OP has perused the ads from our wonderful ladies, and is simply looking to save himself some time...because after all: We have ladies with long weekend specials http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191654&highlight=special We have ladies with special allowances for later bookings or overnight rendezvous http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191648&highlight=special We have ladies with specials of the day http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191639&highlight=special We have early bird specials, and specials for bringing wine http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191629&highlight=special We have month end specials http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191629&highlight=special We have specials to help pay for taxes http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191446&highlight=special We have pre-booking specials http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191045&highlight=special We have specials for "$50 reduction for a rendez-vous confirmed before " deadline http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=190144 Clearly, specials are a common thing. So my question is this...why is it ok for providers to have specials, but frowned upon when men inquire about specials? IMO, the OP is not looking to negotiate a ladies rates, he is inquiring if a provider has a birthday special...nothing more. Either a lady has one, or she doesn't. I don't see why it needs to be more complicated than that. After all, cut him some slack...it's his birthday ;) This is the post of the year!
Guest Cr**gCa***ng Report post Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) We are definitely of the same mind!!! I would love to do something special for someone I have been seeing and have established a warm friendship. The smiles are priceless as you say...good for you bro! I am with you on this one. As I commented under conquistador's post #12, I purposely booked to see a lovely lady on her birthday. For this special day, I preordered a lovely cake at Swiss Pastries and brought to her to help her celebrate. The smile on her face was priceless! Additional Comments: The OP is asking if a provider has birthday specials. He's not asking for a freebie. After all, cut him some slack...it's his birthday ;) My perspective was a different angle in that I forego my birthdays and that I as do some others would prefer to do something special for my/our provider(s). Some ladies offer various specials and that's up to her; either she does or doesn't as you correctly point out. The smiles are priceless as you say...good for you bro! Thank you, bro! As you also mentioned, I do not care for or expect a return in terms of celebrating my own BD. Whenever I see her, it is already a big enough celebration. I couldn't ask for anything more :icon_wink:

all-in 300 Report post Posted September 6, 2014 A stripper did decide to treat me to a steak dinner for my birthday last year, at a nice restaurant of my choice. Does that count?

xxxAxxx 21016 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 I don't understand what the issue is in regards to someone inquiring about specials...I see a lot of this on this site; women who seem quite bothered by every little question posed to them, even when the question was not aimed at them personally (as in this case). Yes, we get asked a lot of questions... yes, some of them are repetitive and get annoying... No, we should not jump down someone's throat for asking. Why does the "IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL" not work both ways? Why is client-bashing OK? You see a question that you don't like seeing, simple: DON'T ANSWER. Move to the next thread... Why do we need to publicly humiliate people who don't see things the way we do? On a more related note, I do not offer "birthday specials", but if I did you can rest assured I would be asking for I.D. to prove it otherwise it would just be everyone's birthday everyday. If a regular client were to inform me it was his birthday, sure I would do something special for him, cake/cupcake or wine or maybe an extra sexy outfit, whatever. Even though I do not offer such specials, I'd like to high-five the OP for asking and not shame him into lurking but encourage him to post more, ask away my friend! I'm not one of those girls who blacklists people for asking my rates (yes, they are posted on my ads, god forbid someone ask me *eye roll* ) /endrant
