So what does everyone think of this rather bizarre news story. Extortion and uttering death threats. I can't lay all the blame on her as this guy kind of enabled the situation to develope but I commend him on going to the police when things got way out of hand.

I feel bad for him a his personal life as of now it's probably over , the damage is done .

As for Chelsea hard to say what will happen.

Will be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Hard to say what will happen with this. We don't know the full story as everything doesn't come out into the news. I agree with you Boomer that both are at fault and he did the right thing by going to the police. Glad it wasn't me because I met her last year for 3 hours but paid for 2 because I took her out for dinner after our business was over. She seemed like a very sweet girl and would never thought she would do something like this but guess I was wrong.

It's hard to know if the facts in the paper are accurate or what the other side is. Presuming it's true, I do have a bit of sympathy for him, but only a bit. It sounds like he converted an escort to a sugardaddy/sugarbaby thing, then let himself believe it was love. While the cash was still flowing! The penis was doing the thinking here, and we all know judgement isn't too sharp when that happens. He made himself very vulnerable, and as such was an easy mark.

 

Good on him for making the tough choice to come forward and bring this into the light of day (assuming it's true). It makes you wonder how many men out there would have just paid up and let the scheme start again on the next guy. They say there is a sucker born every minute, but there are just as many predators walking around out there. So everyone (ladies included) should always use good judgement, protect your privacy, and beware of offers too good to be true.

Well, there's a rule about posting site names. The rules drive mod sanctions, they presumably don't just make it up as they go. There's no rule about getting into legal trouble off site that I'm aware of. Otherwise where do you draw the line for off site behaviour? Should SP's (or hobbiests for that matter) be banned for speeding or not filing tax returns too? There is a warning section for this kind of stuff. Maybe this thread belongs there.

Also until she is proven guilty she is just accused of this. Here in Ontario we follow the rule innocent until proven guilty. Even this being brought up on the site is here is against the rules at this time. She could be innocent (she may not be) but assuming she is ... that is wrong. I am closing this and if anyone knows the outcome of the trial let me know and if she is proven guilty by a court of law I will remove her from the site.
