The Real Stories of Disabled Men Who Pay for Sex

Recommended Posts

I find some of her underlying assumptions offensive, such as 22 percent of the 1,115 disabled male respondents admitted they had at some point paid for sex,

The use of the word "admitted" implies that it is something shameful that had to be coerced out of someone. A better word choice would have been perhaps "revealed, disclosed, stated."

Also--disabled men plain old want to have sex and intimacy and autonomy the same as any other man.

I am glad the author learned something through the study, because it appears that some rather ignorant assumptions were present before the study.

As an escort who does meet with disabled client-lovers, just sayin'.......

sheesh!
