It seems to me a massage parlour is, or could be considered a common bawdy house...? There's a massage place that JUST opened up where I live, and I'm dying to go, but after I read that thread where Mod posted some legal facts (specifically this thread here http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=6242&postcount=3) 6) why you hear police bust on escorts agency, girls and guys ;Usually street girls, massage spa's offering FS, a brothel where a neighbour complained or it was run by a pimp. So, are massage parlours a bad risk for gettign caught? I went to a place on Hwy 7 once, and well, I mean, the doros were locked solid from outside, they buzzed me in, asked me lots of questions, i guess to make sure I wasn't a cop, cause I was nervous, and just happened to drop by... I proceeded to get a 30 minute massage, with bbhj. But again, the front doors are locked solid, not that it woudl stop somebody from breaking the glass if there was a raid... mod 135640 Report post Posted September 7, 2007 Full service massage spa's are target in many cities for busts as they fall under the common bawdy house law. Some cities turn a blind eye to the HJ and even sometimes the BJ ones from the general consensus on these boards. Bottom line is, if they are offering sexual services then it is a bawdy house so beware a risk always exists. The level of risk would depend on the city... maybe someone with more info for Ottawa can add to this as I personal am not aware of any major problem with the MPs in Ottawa but then again I don't live in Ottawa. captain 160 Report post Posted September 7, 2007 yeah, I don't live in ottawa anymore myself..... but I do plan to go back next month.... if not this month.... for a visit. my city has 50,000 people, and this is the only massage of it's kind..... they don't really advertise what they offer.. which has me chompign at the bit to find out. :) I was working next door last week, and one of the girls came out for a smoke, and she was cute as a button... so I thought I'd like to know whats on the up and up... thanks.
