How did I bounce from dancer, to a masseuse ? Well truth be told, I'm a hands on person. I study in medical esthetics and added to that Cosmetology, and majored in Sterilization of Medical Instruments. And Oh ya and also took massage classes when I lived in Belgium ( Best Experience EVVEEERRRRR) Massaging people never gets tiring to me, I love being able to make someone smile, be at ease and zen, especially when you know what you are doing. Seems like the Canadian indies might be in it more for reasons like yours. There are some documentaries/articles/interviews about women formerly in the industry. Stories vary. gwengrail 4621 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 I heard of CMJ a couple of years ago actually and it sounded like a whole lot of fun, but didn't really have the ovaries to do it (they're way stronger than balls ;)) One of my friends got a membership last year and was telling me all about it. How great the girls were, how much fun they have, how great the money was, how the club worked as a private, as opposed to public, and he said I would absolutely love it. Suppose it's like my own chosen profession. Each has their reason for trying it then each comes to their own conclusion if they will stay or try something else. Was heavily looking for another contract that was just not coming in for it was summer and in contracts mode there R 3 times of the year that R very bad and summer is one of them. So ended up being unemployed and living very poorly until mid October but before then there was son's back to school among other things... The Salvation Army ended up feeding us partly and completely dressing up son for school and paying both his book and all of his school supplies because I just couldn't... And now don't U think I was and still am living like a queen for I am really not. Then, at last, found another contract in mid October of last year which ended end December... So when I ended up being unemployed again winter of last year, around XMas time which is one of the other third bad time of a year for an independent worker, and knowing that I was a nympho so being multi-orgasmic I just decided yes go ahead sexy DO IT!! So et voilà !!! Did work for a short while for the last 3 months (ended contract end of last week) and U know what I missed being available SO much!!! Now and was before that 3 months, doing it to pay the bills but also to get all contentment ever!!! For I express myself in the companionship I provide so we both, the gentleman and myself, can just have so much a good time together and leave or end happy! Now if I would have known all the pleasure and satisfaction I would have had out of being a 'dame de compagnie' I would have started this profession so much longer before!! Whether it's for basics, the extra's, to pay down debt or be independent of others it still comes down to money. As well......not everyone loves their job. Doing something with my hands is a real bonus too, as I'm very good with my hands, as well as other parts of me ;-) The money is just a perk, and although I have a 'day job' that I would never give up (I LOVE my job!!), it is great to be able to get paid for something you do well. Taylor, Olivia Devine 16934 Report post Posted December 5, 2014 When I first entered the adult entertainment industry I was young and at the time it was for the money and the fact that I could have more freedom with my time (spending more time traveling, hanging out with friends and family) etc...However As I have grown up and tried different professions in this industry (Massage, Independent Courtesan & Dancer) I have gained so much more insight, memories & friends! It became more about the connections I was making with people and learning more about myself as well. I am a people person and I am very genuine with my service and my personality really does shine! I love making people happy & relaxed, chatting with all different types of people of different walks of lives is so exciting to me!
