Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 (edited) I'm changing my website around in the wake of bill c 36 and the changes that will be taking place on Cerb in regards to not advertising certain things. What about the terms "girlfriend experience" and "erotic"? Can these still be used on my site or will they be considered a no no? I am trying to describe the type of session I offer and gfe is what it is. I also offer massage and the term erotic has been used since as long as I can remember.... even before some ads became very blatant and straight forward. Thank-you in advance for your comments. Guest S****r Report post Posted November 8, 2014 It would be helpful if mod would post a list of what is considered acceptable and what is not acceptable, eh?
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 I have made the necessary changes and made it descriptive but not in the terms we're not allowed to use. I think I did pretty good. I have a great imagination in a way that is appealing but won't get me into trouble. lol. And on another note before publishing it, Html editor 5 is REALLY giving me a hard time tonight!
peacectryguy 12547 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Well Nicki, I read the entire thing and I think you did a wonderful job. I love the way you use terms such as "travel around the world twice" and "speaking Russian and French but not Greek". Any potential client should be able to clearly understand everything in there without needing the same old boring menu. I don't know what is supposedly allowed or not but I would have to think that the wording you used is okay. LE might be able to infer (is infer the right term here?)that it is sex but I don't see that as proof of actually breaking this inane law. I think we should have some actual lawyer make that judgement though. After all, I'm just a dumb old plumber. I know shit runs downhill and payday is every other week. Anyway, I think your site is great and really well-written.You are definitely a lady of class. Now if I only could find the time and resources to make a trip to our nations capital, I would be one happy camper.:icon_wink:

I just published the new version now on the session page. Lol. I am also too wordy and I'm a very detail oriented person so I'm cutting my entire website down tonight so it is clear and concise without having to read forever. Sorry fellas! You're just going to have to read between the lines. That could be quite interesting. I just made myself all hot and bothered with the changes I made. Hehe. peacectryguy 12547 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Well shit, color me foolish, Miss Nicki, lol. And here I thought I was being helpful. Oh well, I'll read the new one too and btw, I don't mind "wordy". I actually love the sensual prose. The more of it there is, the happier and more intrigued I become. Now if I could only win the damn lottery.

kerrixoxo 33719 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Given the RCMP sees GFE or girlfriend experience as a term that indicates selling of sexual services, it's probably best to play it safe. That is my opinion but CERB may have other ideas. I think the general term like companionship or "sensual companionship" might help.
Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 Rather then erotic massage, which denotes nudity and touching, I have called my massage " The Happy Massage" So this got rid of the term happy ending. A massage with no body parts forgotten is another play on words you may find helpful. Rather then GFE, perhaps, just in the way you describe your time together is enough to show you are a dream date:) " As an escort I am your dream date. I enjoy all the fun-loving activities a date would typically offer you. So, I think a description like that would show that you provide a GFE session. Hope this helps? Also , YES GFE is a term that is risky to use, as you notice on BP it is word blocked when you try to type it.
Guest C*****tte Report post Posted November 8, 2014 I have rarely used acronyms so my text should be OK but I do have a listing for a massage option for couples that says it does not include anything à la française. A couple recently wrote me asking what that meant. I thought it was obvious from the emphasis I made to manual touch and that the use of language in sex slang outside of the professional has been going since forever but alas it was not obvious to them. This vagueness is off to a great start!

Companionship will be deemed illegal in the next revision of this statute. That would include the use of both hands for self gratification.
Guest Swee****rry Report post Posted November 8, 2014 I will also have to change mine as well but not very good with the wording to describe... It would be nice on what to know to say and such. Also are we still allowed to call ourselves "elite companions"? I use this. Just curious and many questions lol
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted November 8, 2014 I will also have to change mine as well but not very good with the wording to describe... It would be nice on what to know to say and such. Also are we still allowed to call ourselves "elite companions"? I use this. Just curious and many questions lol The words "elite companion" does not imply anything that is sexually explicit. Being a companion does not mean it is sexual. The key is to take a situation that could be viewed explicit by nature and use other words to take its place and describe something that appears to be non sexual. For example: Lets say a person had a talent for something that some men like such as being a squirter. With what is about to happen that will be considered graphic and explicit to put in an ad if you're going to advertise here. Instead a person could say.. I enjoy long walks in the rain with my date and suggest you bring an umbrella. I think they will get the hint. lol. Is that anything explicit? No and people will have to get used to reading between the lines like they used to do. Using the situation of something being wet and aside from getting wet with water what words can this be replaced with? Rain, water, umbrella, waterfalls. This is just an example.

Guest D***el B***e Report post Posted November 8, 2014 I can see how this could become problematic for both the providers and hobbyists, but as with ANY laws some wise person will eventually find the loopholes ... there's always loopholes in any laws, Why?, because laws are written by some bureaucrat in a closed office who doesn't understand reality.
