Can Someone Please Tell Me...Re: Changing Explicit Wording

I'm changing my website around in the wake of bill c 36 and the changes that will be taking place on Cerb in regards to not advertising certain things.

 

What about the terms "girlfriend experience" and "erotic"? Can these still be used on my site or will they be considered a no no? I am trying to describe the type of session I offer and gfe is what it is. I also offer massage and the term erotic has been used since as long as I can remember.... even before some ads became very blatant and straight forward.

I have made the necessary changes and made it descriptive but not in the terms we're not allowed to use. I think I did pretty good. I have a great imagination in a way that is appealing but won't get me into trouble. lol.

 

And on another note before publishing it, Html editor 5 is REALLY giving me a hard time tonight!

Well Nicki, I read the entire thing and I think you did a wonderful job. I love the way you use terms such as "travel around the world twice" and "speaking Russian and French but not Greek". Any potential client should be able to clearly understand everything in there without needing the same old boring menu. I don't know what is supposedly allowed or not but I would have to think that the wording you used is okay. LE might be able to infer (is infer the right term here?)that it is sex but I don't see that as proof of actually breaking this inane law. I think we should have some actual lawyer make that judgement though. After all, I'm just a dumb old plumber. I know shit runs downhill and payday is every other week.:biggrin:

Anyway, I think your site is great and really well-written.You are definitely a lady of class. Now if I only could find the time and resources to make a trip to our nations capital, I would be one happy camper.:icon_wink:

That was the old version. I just published the new version now on the session page. Lol. I am also too wordy and I'm a very detail oriented person so I'm cutting my entire website down tonight so it is clear and concise without having to read forever.

Rather then erotic massage, which denotes nudity and touching, I have called my massage " The Happy Massage" So this got rid of the term happy ending. A massage with no body parts forgotten is another play on words you may find helpful.

 

Rather then GFE, perhaps, just in the way you describe your time together is enough to show you are a dream date:)

 

" As an escort I am your dream date. I enjoy all the fun-loving activities a date would typically offer you.

 

So, I think a description like that would show that you provide a GFE session.

I have rarely used acronyms so my text should be OK but I do have a listing for a massage option for couples that says it does not include anything à la française. A couple recently wrote me asking what that meant. I thought it was obvious from the emphasis I made to manual touch and that the use of language in sex slang outside of the professional has been going since forever but alas it was not obvious to them.

Companionship will be deemed illegal in the next revision of this statute. That would include the use of both hands for self gratification.

The words "elite companion" does not imply anything that is sexually explicit. Being a companion does not mean it is sexual.

 

The key is to take a situation that could be viewed explicit by nature and use other words to take its place and describe something that appears to be non sexual.

 

For example: Lets say a person had a talent for something that some men like such as being a squirter. With what is about to happen that will be considered graphic and explicit to put in an ad if you're going to advertise here.

 

Instead a person could say.. I enjoy long walks in the rain with my date and suggest you bring an umbrella.

 

I think they will get the hint. lol. Is that anything explicit? No and people will have to get used to reading between the lines like they used to do.

 

Using the situation of something being wet and aside from getting wet with water what words can this be replaced with? Rain, water, umbrella, waterfalls.

I can see how this could become problematic for both the providers and hobbyists, but as with ANY laws some wise person will eventually find the loopholes ... there's always loopholes in any laws, Why?, because laws are written by some bureaucrat in a closed office who doesn't understand reality.
