waterrat 1261 Report post Posted November 12, 2014 Thanks for posting the link. If government regulation defies common sense it fails. Case in point, speed limits fail, traffic calming measures (reduced sight lines, traffic circles) work. The country was a better place when politicians were paid a pittance and only "legislated" a few weeks a year.
Two Thirty 1422 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 With an academic background in economics, one wonders if Harper could set aside the emotional vitriol and see the logic of the economic argument presented in this article?
Jabba 18389 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 With an academic background in economics, one wonders if Harper could set aside the emotional vitriol and see the logic of the economic argument presented in this article? Unfortunately, logic and politics are unlikely bedfellows.
FunValerie 8573 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 There has been a recent increase in demands for BBFS. The bill appears to have the consequence of making the demanders more demanding and not in a safe way.
Beach7 100 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 Its almost as if the lawmakers (some of influence) sat down with the folks in the underground economy to make the mob's business grow. But of course that never happens.
