SHE DEVIL 16331 Report post Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) All you have to do is see an established lady and stay away from the new girls and everything will be fine. Will be great for the established ladies. The problem that I have been having is the rudeness from callers because I won't discuss rates or services. I guide them to my ads and website. Which they really should have been reading before they contacted me. :tresmauvaisehumeur: It isn't to be rude or anything, but to have someone call and the first thing they ask is "what are your rates?" when I have them on all of my ads is ridiculous. Discussing services is something else I don't do for legal reasons and why I have my reviews posted on my website. I have done this long before the new bill. I did it to save myself from being put in a legal position and to give the person an idea of what they're in for. I also hate repeating myself. I don't know how "great' everything is going to be because a lot of people a getting scared away from the hobby all together. I do see your point as the supply pool will go down and the demand will increase. I have thought about that also. However, I don't study economics. Just anatomy and physiology.... ;) SD Edited November 19, 2014 by SHE DEVIL
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted November 19, 2014 Anyone have an opinion about this? When does it go in to effect Looks like pooning life is over It's as simple as this. You are now technically paying for time and companionship ONLY. It's best to call a lady by phone so no trail of email or texts. Do not ask explicit questions and especially where money is concerned. This will now be illegal on your end. The ladies are legally allowed to tell you what they offer but you CANNOT ask. Some ladies may not discuss anything explicit out of discretion for their customers because they want to protect the gentlemen they may be seeing. Stay away from anyone you cannot find legit intel on. Law enforcement will likely use BP site as a ruse to get guys to visit and the lady in the picture will be in her twenties, look perfect and anytime to visit will be perfect with them at a hotel or motel. In other words, if it sounds too easy and convenient, run the other way! And stay away from the street. This is who they go after first. Additional Comments: The problem that I have been having is the rudeness from callers because I won't discuss rates or services. I guide them to my ads and website. Just anatomy and physiology.... ;) SD The business has changed and people want everything NOW! I remember when clients used to actually research ladies which is why it was called "the hobby". I don't know what to call it now in some cases. This also has a lot to do with technology. Everything is instant gratification for some. I was told to "screw that" the other day when I pointed someone in the direction of my website after already answering their most important question which was rates.. They can take the time to peruse adult classified ads but suddenly have a problem when being asked to actually taking a few minutes to read my website. These are not the customers I seek in my choice of target market. It will take some time but when people such as the above example truly realize the consequences of their potential actions, they will change how they conduct themselves when contacting a lady. It won't happen overnight. Some will give this up altogether but when I first started in this line of work, people were very hesitant in asking and often apologized for not wanting to come across as crude or rude. I often used code phrases that were not considered explicit with the phrases sounding like I was about to go on an actual date. I have also changed my website accordingly. A few gentlemen I have met in the last few weeks and months do not really quite know what's going on and I have given them a quick run down. They were very surprised and I let them know not to ask explicit things when contacting a lady. As members here, most of us who read this site on a regular or daily basis know exactly what's going on. Anywhere else, most are not up to date with exactly what is about to happen. Some haven't even heard about it. One customer at a time.

mrgreen760 37785 Report post Posted November 19, 2014 It is incredible how many on both sides have no idea of the bill! Look how many new posters pop up to ask about it. How can so many people be so clueless? In the whole scheme of things this impacts few people and as well very few of those whom may be impacted belong to these boards so I'm not surprised at the lack of attention/notice overall. The lights may come on in December......or not. Peace MG
rubintugger 3322 Report post Posted November 22, 2014 I'm wondering is Law Enforcement will waste any resources on this victimless crime. Sure, if someone is pimping, living off the avails, using underaged girls, or otherwise doing something that is not victimless, book him, and incarcerate him. But a pooner out for a little something on the side, a little "different", what's the crime? And to what benefit of society does persecuting and prosecuting these otherwise upstanding citizens? Will the moral minority push LE into setting up stings and entrapping johns, or will LE say "Hey, we have criminals to chase here, and we're not going to waste our time just to make you feel better about something you have no involvement with". Its not like photo radar, which generates money. It is 100% revenue negative, and will tie up courts, judges, juries, legal aid with zero benefit to society. I think the strategy to defeat this is to attack its defenders, and take them off their high horses. Expose the skeletons in their closets, even take one or two down in their own stings. That'll get everyone to back off...

The ladies are legally allowed to tell you what they offer but you CANNOT ask. Some ladies may not discuss anything explicit out of discretion for their customers because they want to protect the gentlemen they may be seeing. The more I think I understand the law, the more I get confused when I read certain interpretations. In a nutshell: I know we can legally advertize what we offer. Companionship and much more. The problem is for third parties. I know it's illegal for clients to communicate for the purpose of procuring sexual services. Well, everything for a client is illegal where sex and money are involved. Where I get really confused is when you say a client cannot ask about details but you can provide them... It doesn't make any sense to me because as soon as you start offering explicit details of what you provide, the exchange has gone from companionship only to sexual services, whether he asks or you offer the information. The nature of the conversation is no longer about companionship only. Does anyone care to offer a rational explanation for this? I would, like many others, appreciate it.

Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 I dont get it either. MrX cant ask me if I do Y services but what happen if I reply yes or no ?! From my understanding we are legally allowed to tell clients this but if you spoke to a lawyer they would tell you if you mentioned that you offer x, y and z services then you are inferring something that would be illegal for the client to participate in because he would be paying you. Peter Mackay intentionally did this because he is an idiot and has the power to do so. You're right Gabriella, it is definitely contradictory. Getting a court to determine if something was considered explicit would be very broad.. Correct me if I'm wrong here but last time I read the bill it didn't define what "s services" actually were. Potential clients will have to read between the lines now and I'm sure some who do have an understanding of the new laws will be grateful that there will be SPs who will not have an explicit discussion with them for their safety. It's time to start using phrases that are not explicit. It's the only way around it. I've already made up a few of my own that get the point across that don't imply anything explicit. Gents, you will now have to read between the lines.
fresh 8278 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 I have never understood why other clients on here say they want so much information. I prefer to be somewhat in the dark then create a huge trail of evidence. just pay for companionship and nothing more. You may be disappointed if nothing more happens but you will be more disappointed if you end up arrested with a slew of texts that prove you were soliciting sexual services. learn to read between the lines and choose the smaller risk of not getting what you desire compared to the bigger risks. for a while I am going to keep to sp that I have seen before. I know where the best companionship is. Actually after an extremely hot session that would rival my best porn type fantasies I had the thought 'this girl is so nice and sweet I think next time i'll just cuddle with her for the whole hour'. I must be getting old. Lol

Gents, you will now have to read between the lines. Not too many people can. When I have implied to in the past, that's when people hang up on me or get rude. Even when I politely explain that this is for legal reasons and all of my information is available for them on my ads and website. I guess calling me and asking for my rates, would hope that I would forget all of a sudden and give a different answer. I've always written and spoken in the simplest ways because I can't assume that someone will understand or take my meaning. fresh 8278 Report post Posted November 26, 2014 I imagine dealing with blokes who can't read between the lines would be very frustrating. Recently one of my favorites texted me all of her new rates I really didn't need that in writing! I didn't make a big deal about it because I can't see it becoming a concern between her and I More reason to get a cash phone not linked to any other part of my life Been meaning to do that for too long now Good advice from some of the vets on here. I have just been to dumb to listen. Some traveling service providers I would have seen I asked to speak to them via phone rather than just texting. For several reasons I feel more comfortable booking if I can hear the women's voice. Many say text only. Do the SP's think this an unreasonable request? For several reasons I feel more comfortable booking if I can hear the women's voice. Many say text only. Do the SP's think this an unreasonable request? I don't book and appointment by email or text only unless I have met them before. That's a great way to get no shows. I always ask for a phone call because I can't screen someone without that call or decide if I am the right person for them. If someone is saying text only that sounds awfully fishy. IMO. It isn't unreasonable at all. When I ask someone that's texting and they won't call me or go quiet and disappear, then I know that they're just a WOT. Most WOT clients will text and text and text back and forth and never set up or have the intention of booking an appointment. That's why I don't respond to "Hi", or any questions that are directly on my ad or website. Or, after one or two texts with more and more questions that are merely conversational, I stop replying. I pay per text so I can drain a phone card pretty quick texting with idiots that are just kicking my tires and wasting my time. I have it on my ads to keep them to a minimum. Not a long string of back and forth messages with one question after the other when they could have put everything in one message. That is my biggest peeve. For the longest time I wouldn't accept text messages at all. I prefer initial contact by email and then a phone call sometime before the appointment. rubintugger 3322 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 It all comes down to "Are they actually going to try to enforce this crap". So many laws get on the books because some vocal minority fights for them, and they get their way. But LE and the legal system (courts, judges, etc) have to agree. If they don't, the law will be the same as that that prevents you from walking three abreast on the sidewalk.
