Vancouver Police to Prioritize Safety Over Anti-Prostitution Law

Seems like they are able to figure out what the political leadership of this country could not... it's all about Safety.

Interesting, their position seems to be that it wouldn't be safe for sex workers if they enforced this law. Interesting as to how the government could even conceive it could be constitutional when a major urban police force seems to disagree...

there should be a link to a story about some research done in the DTES Vancouver when only the clients were targeted in stings (using the public solicitation laws, that is). The results were quite significant, and it includes comments from some street workers as well.
