cerb versus other boards, simply no comparison because:

 

1 - Members are friendly and respectful.

2 - Ladies are classy and beautiful.

3 - mod is fair and decisive.

3 - There is so much interaction with ladies (I mean on the board). Ladies frequently take part in debates and exchange of info (yes flirting on the board too).

4 - Provides a safe environment for ladies (and gents) to meet and exchange pleasure.

5 - Provides the SP private area where ladies can check clients for unsafe behaviour or no shows.

6 - Provides free advertisement for ladies. Important for new indies. I don't know of any other board as such.

7 - Very active board in Ottawa section and large number of ladies highly recommended.

8 - The only board I know of with reputation points where members are rewarded for their positive contributions.

9 - The semi annual valued SP event rewarding freely elected SP as valued SP

10 - The semi annual valued member event, rewarding freely elected member as valued member,

11 - The nominated value members nominated by members for their contributions.

 

Do you want some more .....:)

 

12-The albums where we can look at our beautiful ladies.

13 - The Appreciation Groups where we can join and enjoy.

14-The No fighting or negative comments rules credited for providing a friendly classy environment free of hostility or lies and deception or cheating (unlike the other board). Nobody no matter how valued can get away with any of that.

15-A board that rigorously fights bait and switch and deception where pictures are verified.

 

In summary, friendly, respectful, classy, trusty and safe environment for all where all are equal and treated with respect.

 

Now, can anyone give an example of any other board with even half all that above???!!!!.

Seems like you may need to TOFTT (Take One For The Town).

 

Go on a date or 10 and posts some recos and feedback - inspire others to build upon the community. See if the Barrie market can grow. Tell local SPs about CERB and how friendly and beneficial it is for their business. Few months/years from now you may have a thriving Barrie forum. If not, then just lump it I guess.

Good advice BCB. For myself I can add the following. When I first started as a member on CERB there was no options at all here in my hometown of Moncton. Halifax (2 1/2 hr drive) was the only choice (I think TO is closer to Barrie and TO has hundreds of SP's) but I didn't bitch about the lack of Moncton activity. I did send messages to Halifax SP's asking if they would consider visiting etc. Finally we were lucky enough here to have Emily (Emily in Toronto) make a visit. Others have followed and I have done my best to book and support and Rec and thank as many of these wonderful touring ladies as is possible given my time and $$ commitment to the hobby. Moncton now has become a regular tour destination for many wonderful ladies and I wish I could book with each one of them on every visit because I want to keep supporting their efforts. Luckily other CERB members in Moncton and surrounding areas can support and visit with these ladies as well, and I hope Moncton continues to be a profitable and friendly destination for them. Bottom line, instead of bitching take BCB's advice and maybe a lesson from the Moncton experience.

Well I actually read your 9 posts and you sound pretty frustrated - likely by the lack of ladies in your area, I'm guessing Barrie. Do yourself a favor man, go spend a weekend in Toronto or Ottawa or Montreal - there are great ladies in all these cities. After you've had some fun, and you get back to Barrie, you can hang out with the mods. :mrgreen:. (Sorry mods I could not resist).

 

Only happy people here chevy - congrats, you've put Barrie on the map with this thread. Perhaps some ladies reading this thread might tour Barrie - but the guys in Barrie need to be polite and SHOW INTEREST. Peace out!

It was about Barrie; hence it's placement in the Barrie forum; my bad for saying 'board' instead of 'forum'. And I didn't really see that the post was really all THAT bad. Was frustrated at how little information there is posted about the Barrie area yet you get pm's with leads all the time.

 

To those that think I can't make a simple comment like this because I've only posted 9 times, can't say that I have much to review about (unfortunately). Just figured that a Barrie based forum would draw a little more recommendations for the Barrie area and was venting... sorry if I offended some of you but got at least one PM of applause...

l'm Base in Mississauga , but then 80% here is from Ottawa.

I just wish it was more popular across Canada .

I don't think they advertise , or marketed well enough across Canada .

But I'll be in Barrie in the end of June .

There , is a market in Barrie for Business .

But there not where , for Gentleman in Barrie to look .

Our company is in Barrie and the local Barrie girls rarely venture online. They advertise in the newspapers and a handful on CL. We advertised escorts-canada in Barrie for many years (even offered all the local agencies and ladies free ads) but only a small handful ever made ads with us. We even owned a internet cafe at one point downtown Barrie and a few of the ladies would come in and use our site from the cafe but they did not have computers of their own and the agency they worked for could not be bothered placing ads online (we met with the owner and everything and nothing ever came of it)

 

Advertising in a city like that is pointless... The guys would see the ad in the paper, go online and none of the ladies would be listed!

 

This site is popular in Ottawa because escorts-canada is popular in Ottawa and that is thanks to www.lyla.com as it was the first discussion board in Canada for escorts and was based in Ottawa (Our member here "Joyful Spirit" is the lady who started and ran lyla.com back in 1996). Plus Ottawa is a tech town that embraces the internet.... (Barrie ... Not so much at this time)

 

Lyla.com brought a lot of Ottawa people online and over to escorts-canada (and this site gets lots of traffic from EC). It will catch on across the country over time (It will not happen over night)

 

We do NOT pay to advertise cerb.ca it's a "word of mouth" site and lots of traffic from escorts-canada comes to cerb (and visa-a-versa). We do however sink insane amounts of money into advertising escorts-canada.com.... Barrie is no longer a city that is promoted however as we have exhausted advertising it in Barrie until it grows a little bigger.

 

Cerb has LOTS of google listings (and other search engine listings) the majority of new traffic comes from google, other search engines and escorts-canada

 

If you plan to work in Barrie you should place an ad in the advance and the examiner (as that is where all the ladies advertise) and make sure you post here as you would be surprised how many guys look at the Barrie section here! We just can't get the ladies to get online and advertise here (and the local agencies that we have dealt with in the past are far from professional so you can not expect them to go online and place ads online).

 

Nothing is going to change this fact at this time.... Barrie has more massage spa attendants than they do active local escorts (I bet Barrie now has 15+ spas) and the massage spa's do not advertise online for some reason. Guess the road signage is enough to keep them busy.

If people are not online a lot tho they probably won't see the point. The majority of clients are always most likely going to come from their paper ads, but for the benefit of the site members, then the promotion of this site will have to come from the review side, not the sp side, imo.

That is very true. Thanks daddio, certainly didn't mean to cause such an uproar. After a rather dismal meeting with a girl from NH, tried hard to research to not have another letdown; instead found almost no information and got roasted for venting my frustration in not finding good leads.
