Montreal during F1 Weekend.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I will be in Montreal during the F1 weekend. I will be staying downtown near where the race track is. I have never been to Montreal, does anyone have some tips of where I could go in Montreal to find some fun?

Also, with it being f1 weekend, should I expect rates to go up?

Thanks!

What type of fun are you referring to? Are you talking about escorts? Strip clubs? Night clubs?

As for the rates question, unfortunately the answer is yes for the majority of SPs. Although, it is not unheard of for some indies to lower their rates when there is a special event taking place.

IF you have never been: Go early, stay late!

If you can't find and have fun during this weekend in Mtl (or any other time) you can't be breathing.

Everyone should experience this upcoming weekend. Don't miss the Ferrari party, normally on Thursday downtown. Lots of old F's very impressive.

Are there any good places that are open after 2am for a "massage"? Preferably around the montreal gay village (looking for female massuses, only staying in the gay village since it's close to the F1 race track).

Since the Grand Prix is a major sporting event in Montreal. Can anyone give me an indication of how far advance I'll have to schedule a date with an SP? Also, since I've decided to go so late, finding accommodations in the downtown area will be very difficult, so I'll have to resort staying either close to the airport or in Laval. Which area is better, I've heard that the airport area is kind of sketchy?

There are some nice hotels by the airport. The aLoft has nice simple modern rooms. There are others on Cote de Liesse that are nice too. I like the Holiday Inn Express which is renovated.

But keep in mind there is nothing in that area but the highway and the industrial section. You need to drive elsewhere for restaurants etc...

For agencies they tend to book the same day or the same week. They do not know who will be on call.

As for independents, you can start the booking process in advance. They see less people generally and have less availability.
