mod 135640 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 I plan to add a FAQ area on Lyla for posting etiquette and I wanted to ask our seasoned members if they have anything to add before I post it. Posting etiquette (Some for clients, some for providers, some for both) 1 ) Do not discuss providers' rates (unless you are the provider or agency doing the posting) 2 ) Do not comment on a service providers rates being too expensive or cheap! 3 ) Do not discuss street walkers 4 ) Please use discretion! Do not discuss drug use, illegal activities, violent acts and anything that would bring unwanted attention to someone, some business or our community here on Lyla. If you are aware of a illegal activity taking place you should contact the police (not post it here) as posting it here brings unwanted attention to Lyla! 5 ) Do not fight or flame anyone (this includes flaming the lurkers or low post count guys and includes fighting with each other in the PM system) 6 ) Do not spread rumors! 7 ) If you have a problem with another member bring it to the attention of the mod and DO NOT post about it in public. 8 ) Do not post a provider's personal info such as addresses or share this info in a PM unless you are the provider. You risk her safety if you do this! 9 ) Do not ask for prices of providers from other members (you should ask them directly) 10 ) Before you post a recommendation for a provider you should ask her for permission and you should ask her for permission to put one of her photos on the recommendation as well. 11 ) Do not post ads to sell products on the site (free ads are for sex workers, massage spas, etc... not toys, web design, etc...) If you wish to promote a different product or service PM the mod first as we may have banners available. 12 ) Do not post links to porn sites 13 ) Do not use the site to complain about a service provider or post negative reviews! 14 ) Keep the site positive and fun! If you have an issue before posting it take a breath and think "Is it a positive contribution to the site?" if the answer is no... it's most likely not welcome! Additional Comments: If you disagree with a decision a moderator has made, you can PM one of us about it (not post publicly about it). 17

theratedrsuperstar 100 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 This post is great for new members such as myself since all the rules are in one place and clear cut. Thanks for taking the time to post this FAQ.
mod 135640 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Does this include posts to the News section ? Good point. I think the news can be an exception... Discetion should be used however.
Mutau 2516 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Good one Mod. Much better for the posting rules to be together. They are clear and precise and leave no wiggle room for the Philadelphia lawyers who walk among us (no dispersions to the legal professions!).
PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 I don't know if it should be a rule, but for posting recommendation's, is it not better that permission is granted from a SP first prior to posting? Other then what you have above, it really ties into http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_sprules all of the other rules.

Good point, I always ask the lady for permission, the list might also benefit from a reminder of the existence of a "Do not review" list or a link to it. MisterMike 1873 Report post Posted August 18, 2012 ..... the comment I just love the most "I run the site as a dictator" or quote some freedom of speech crap that makes you think you have some right to post whatever bad thing you can think of about any person online and get away with it you will not get a warning (You will be removed from the site immediately as I would hate for you to have to be part of such a badly run board). What a lot of people don't understand is that a forum like this is a benevolent dictatorship and that all users are guests. Rules are there for a reason. There are no "rights" to anything. We are here at the pleasure of the admins and the mods who provide the resource. It takes a great deal of time and work to run a forum/message board. Someone has to keep everyone happy and that is like herding cats. Sometimes a heavy hand is needed. Been there and done that. Thank you for making this board available to me. 2
steveyK 4311 Report post Posted November 16, 2012 Just a question??? I have been viewing the posts from many locations as I travel, and I see that most of the posts are about providers from other sites! eg. 'has anyone visited with so and so from BP or CL? I would have thought that CERB postings were for CERB members only, and I feel that these posts do an injustice to the ladies here on CERB who take the time to register, pay for banners, and give what I consider to be a superior service to our members.... thanks to them btw!!!:) Please advise me as to the proper etiquette...Thanks

LoveRose 531 Report post Posted April 14, 2013 I plan to add a FAQ area on cerb for posting etiquette and I wanted to ask our seasoned members if they have anything to add before I post it.Posting etiquette (Some for the guys some for the girls some for both) 1 ) Do not post ladies rates (Unless you are the lady or agency doing the posting and you follow the posting rules found here 2 ) Do not comment on a service providers rates being too expensive or cheap! 3 ) Do not discuss street walkers 4 ) Please use discretion! Do not discuss drug use, illegal activities, violent acts and anything that would bring unwanted attention to someone, some business or our community here on cerb. If you are aware of a illegal activity taking place you should contact the police (Not post it here) as posting it here brings unwanted attention to cerb! 5 ) Do not fight or flame anyone (This includes flaming the lurkers or low post count guys and includes fighting with each other in the PM system) 6 ) Do not spread rumors!!! 7 ) If you have a problem with another member bring it to the attention of the mod and DO NOT post about it in public. 8 ) Do not post ladies address or share this info in a PM unless you are that lady. You risk her safety if you do this!! 9 ) Do not ask for prices of the ladies from other members (You should ask her directly) 10 ) Before you post a recommendation for a lady you should ask her for permission and you should ask her for permission to put one of her photos on the recommendation as well. 11 ) Do not post adds to sell products on the site (Free ads are for sex workers, massage spas, etc... not toys, web design, etc...) If you wish to promote a different product or service PM the mod first as we have banners available for same. 12 ) Do not post links to escorts/massage directories (Links to escorts-canada.com, localescorts.ca are allowed) 13 ) Do not use the site to complain about a service provider or post negative reviews! 14 ) Keep the site positive and fun! If you have an issue before posting it take a breath and think "Is it a positive contribution to the site?" if the answer is no... it's most likely not welcome! Additional Comments: If you disagree with a decision I have made you can PM me about it (Not post publicly about it). If you are respectful and explain why you disagree with me in a calm (short) and clear manner without wasting my time I will listen and you may bring new info to me that could change my decision this way. I am very friendly but my time is limited so my answers may at times be blunt and short (Don't interpret this as rude or mean) I will help you out as long as you do not disrespect me or other members here on the site. If you think commenting in public or to me in private with such things as "The mod is power tripping" or the comment I just love the most "I run the site as a dictator" or quote some freedom of speech crap that makes you think you have some right to post whatever bad thing you can think of about any person online and get away with it you will not get a warning (You will be removed from the site immediately as I would hate for you to have to be part of such a badly run board). I do enforce the rules firmly and will not tolerate trouble makers who disrupt the board and feel they have some right to post damaging, hurtful or rude comments about other human beings! If you break the site rules I will usually warn you for most things (By infractions warning - this is only seen by you and the moderators and it is to keep track of what we have spoken to you about in the past). If you continue to break the rules or get pissy with me about the warnings I will remove you as I don't babysit and you obviously can not follow rules. If you are rude to the ladies you may not get a warning (You may just get booted). This is a FRIENDLY site - sometimes I must be the UNFRIENDLY person in order to keep the site running as smooth and as nice as it does. If you make someone feel unwelcome by your comments you are breaking the rules and could loose your account and you will hate me - all others will appreciate the work and effort I put into the site to keep it civil and fun for the rest of us. Wow this is amazing I love the respect that you have for the ladies!! :)

Derek 140 Report post Posted March 16, 2014 This site is great. The rules in place make it a really good resource for learning about this wonderful hobby. I've been visiting the site of and on for almost two years and last week I finally went out and had my first experience. Now I've got to get up to my five post count so that I can write a recommendation about the amazing time I spent with Makayla at Vibe Urban Spa.
