When I was on the old board cerb, my links in the shout out box were always underlined and automatically linked. Now on lyla (I've been back for 2 days), you'd have to manually copy and paste them to get to the link. My posts don't exceed the alloted characters for the shout out box. What am I doing wrong? Sweet Emily J 172062 Report post Posted January 15, 2015 I just checked your shout posts and I believe it's not working because you're copying and pasting the https version of the link, which I am sure you are not doing intentionally. Try removing the s and just post the http://www.lyla.com/blahblahwhatever. Or just http://www.lyla.com/blahblahwhatever It only automatically creates a clickable link when it detects http:// or just www. You can have words before the link, but there need to be a space before the start of the link. You had: 1-2-3...http://http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=204290 If you write: 1-2-3... http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=204290 it will work. :) Also, you can edit your shout posts after you post them. Click the little yellow box to the left of your name beside your shout post and it will open a larger version of the shout box.
