Thumper221992 100 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Hello, I am twenty-two years of age and completely new to this particular "Hobby" that I've been curious about for the past year, I have also been wondering about a number of things, especially first-timers, client etiquette, expectations, hygiene and etc... The main reason I ask about such things is that, well I'll try to keep this all short, but as I was about to mention, back in the first week of February last year I had a sudden-cardiac arrest attack (exact cause remains unknown) which has left with me with an abnormal heart rhythm (ventricular fibrillation) and that requires me to routinely go for surgery to have an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator inserted beneath the skin in the chest near the left shoulder-blade till the battery-life expires, it has also caused me a certain amount of emotional distress since then, mainly due to my age and having been a very physically active person who has had a strong liking for adventure. Regardless of being considered disabled by medical standards, I still choose to persevere and try to live blissfully content with my condition (disability). Sorry, but this is my first time posting on any kind of site like this.
big k 380 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 i don't think advice here is the right spot to find an answer to your question. I would discuss with your doctor or heart specialist and get their advice. Your question won't even phase them and then you 'll have the real information to make your decision. Sorry I mis read your type of questions - I would still make sure your health side is A-OK
Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 Many people have ICD's as a precaution against sudden cardiac issues and it by itself is not a reason to not be involved in the industry like the previous poster said discuss your sexual activity with your doctor as he/she would be in best position to advise you. In regards to your questions about the the hobby I would suggest that you just ask any specific question you might have. fresh 8278 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 Considering your condition i would suggest you ask your sp to where a nuse's outfit. Probably won't really help but hey sounds like fun to me. I'd agree that you should talk to your doctor to see if you need to take any precautions but other than that you should live your life and love every moment. Zoe Zee 13876 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Hi, I think as long as your doctor says it's fine here shouldn't be an issue with a reputable lady. I have seen clients with disabilities and they usually tell me beforehand so it isn't a surprise or I can make sure I have the proper accommodations (accessibility etc). I am also trained in cpr and have a nurse outfit :P Best of luck!
CurvyWomanXoXo 260 Report post Posted January 22, 2015 I agree with Ice4fun! In order to get the right answer to your questions; You will have to ask more direct questions or use Google lol As far as your heart condition, if you are cleared by your Doctor you should be good to go ;) The ball is in your court how much personal information you would like to share with a SP. Personally, I would like to know of certain medical conditions that could potentially affect the intimate moments I am sharing with someone. However, that is just my personal preference and I can be certain it does not apply to every SP!! Enjoy Your New Adventure :)
