yes I have fallen 3 times with injury since 2000, injuring the same left ankle ........

I have heard that once you injure an ankle it is never the same again and prone to re-injury quite easily. This is certainly the case with a cousin of mine who has to be very careful since twisiting his many years ago whil playing softball.

Hope you are feeling better E.D.

One time i was staying in this place that had beautiful wooden floors...it was winter and and a bit of salt was on the entrance so i decided to use some wood polish on the spot to shine it up...{not a good idea} ...a client arrives and on our way into the main room i slip and slide and fall on my butt in front of him....lmao..nice first impression...lmao..

Very true, I sprained my ankle five times really severely when I was younger. The last time we were camping I actually stepped on a rock, and twisted it, fell on my face, and could not walk anymore, then I was on my way to the hospital. 2 days later and corrective surgery for torn ligaments, then crutches and a cast up to the knee for 6 weeks, then physio ...what a ordeal for simply spraining an ankle so many times.

Additional Comments:

nothing in your hands, nothing like a glass of red wine flying, seeing your smiling face at the door (with low cut top) Emma regardless of the fall would certainly be a great first impression;-)

Actually I've heard the same thing but badly twisted my ankle as well as fracturing it when I was a teenager jumping out of a tree during a game of tag.

Unlike what I was told I never reinjured again and was even able to run track the following years with no recurrence of injury and I am very very clumsy as well.

I have also broken my arm jumping over a fence.. needless to say I don't climb trees or fences anymore!

The surgeon told me I would of been much better off if I had just broke my ankle. Still have issues with it many years later, like arthritic pain.

That view of you is always in my memory bank, simply outstanding always :)

Pete. If you wish to try some homeopathic remedies they tend to work really well for arthritic symptoms.. rhus tox (when it's like a rusty hinge that gets better when you get moving but is ''stuck'' when you first get up) and nat sulph if you're really worse during damp weather.

Chondroitin sulphate helps repair cartilage if that's an issue.
