aggie 100 Report post Posted June 27, 2010 hi, new to the board and new to massage in ottawa. i have a question about legality in the capital. i am aware of common body house laws in the country and how they are mostly not enforced. i'm used to getting massages in toronto, montreal and edmonton, but from what i've read on this and other boards, the massage scene in ottawa seems to be pretty much underground. i'm wondering if there is anything to worry about with the scene in ottawa. for example whether or not busts are common. i'm not really that paranoid but i like to do a little research before i do anything in a new city, and i can't find much info on legality in ottawa. hopefully i'll contribute some recommendations soon! urontop 100 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 Hey aggie - the only busts you usually hear about are from the Asian parlors. It's likely because they are known to use illegal immigrants at their establishments. I've been hitting the scene for about 10 years now and never a problem. If you want absolute assurance join CMJ. It's a private members club and the girls are some of the best in town. They have a full stable of ladies of all types. They list a daily schedule and who is working either day shift or night and guaranteed, you will not be disappointed. They advertise on Cerb - check them out. Megan'sTouch 23875 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 As long as they are not associated with anything additionally illegal (drugs, underage, forced prostitution, etc.) then you should be fine.

whiteman 14028 Report post Posted July 1, 2010 One thing you have to remember about the Ottawa scene is that there are two jurisdictions, an Ontario side and a Quebec side. The rate of busts and reasons for busts are differently enforced in each side. There's not any more or less busts between the two sides, per se. But you'll often see a crackdown in one side one year, and in another year it'll be the other side.
