Cato 160314 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 The youngest I've seen is 24. I prefer older gentlemen and I've always dated men considerably older than me. Any time, Megan!
etasman2000 15994 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 I'm confused.. so sex with a client is legal only if he's over 18 or 16?Is a minor a person under 18 or under 16? The best advice and answer I can give you is to ask a lawyer. There is the Law, the interpretation of the Law and precedent to the Law. IANAL

FineWineDiva 7343 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 Cheers to that !!! Some mature ladies do not see younger men. I have said it before - if you are courteous, clean and respect my requirements and have the requisite donation, you are welcome to see me. If the conversation starts off with "Yo...." or "Wassup", I don't care if your 19 or 99, you are not getting in the door. My youngest client was 19. My youngest "regular" is 25. Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted June 30, 2010 I'm confused.. so sex with a client is legal only if he's over 18 or 16?Is a minor a person under 18 or under 16? Ignoring the age-differential clauses in Section 150, which apply only to young people: 1) A client 18 or older (an adult) is legal 2) A client younger than 16 (a minor) is illegal 3) A client at least 16 but younger than 18 (a "young person"): I don't know whether this is legal or illegal. The answer would depend on if you are in a position of authority over that client, or if you are exploiting that client. As I said, I don't know whether taking money from a "young person" in exchange for sex would be interpreted as exploitative, but as a layman I can see how it might be interpreted that way. Only the professionals would be in a position to answer that one, I think. http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/C-46/FullText.html

It would be a funny argument as some fem-nazi's would argue that the male was exploiting the SP's need for money by paying her for sex. I'm sure some law professor with a subtle sense of humour will give this as a mock case to some students some day.

There is the Law, the interpretation of the Law and precedent to the Law. IANAL Love it, I guess we would find all the answers in the penal code too. Additional Comments: And I should add that this doesn't work too well, since the penal code was put together with "small" head thought processes and probably not well formulated. drlove 37204 Report post Posted July 18, 2010 I'm confused.. how does Nova Scotia have a defined age for this? Isn't this part of the criminal code? I'm not sure what the specific reason is, since in other provinces the legal age is 18, if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps Nova Scotia is marching to the beat of it's own drum. Then again, in the States, you're not of legal age until you turn 21.
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted July 18, 2010 In Nova Scotia, the legal age to work as an escort, or for a client to see escorts is 19. I've never heard of any statute or regulation in Nova Scotia that is more restrictive than the Criminal Code of Canada regarding minimum age for escorting ... where does your info come from, doc? It's true that 19 is the age of majority for a number of things in Nova Scotia. I believe one must be 19 to consume alcohol, sign a legal contract without a guardian's co-signature, etc. To mix and serve alcoholic beverages one must be aged 19. To purchase tobacco products, one must be aged 19. Voting age is of course 18. Searching on the web, I find nothing on escorting: Section 68 of the Labour Standards Code ("Employment of Children") restricts certain types of work for those under ages 14 and 16. http://www.gov.ns.ca/legislature/legc/statutes/labourst.htm According to the International Labour Organization: Nova Scotia. By virtue of section 2(a)(i) of the General Blasting Regulations, 1990, a blasting trainee must be 19 years of age. Under section 14(b) of the Liquor Licensing Regulations, 2002, the holder of a licence may not personally or through any employee or agent allow or employ a person under the age of 19 in or about licensed premises. According to section 127 of the Coal Mining Regulation Act, 1989, no child under 18 years of age can be employed underground in any mine. Moreover, under section 5 of the Metalliferous Mines and Quarries Regulation Act, 1989, no child under the age of 16 years can be employed on or about a mine. http://www.ilo.org/ilolex/cgi-lex/pdconv.pl?host=status01&textbase=iloeng&document=17275&chapter=9&query=Canada%40ref&highlight=&querytype=bool&context=0 But I haven't been able to find any reference to special restrictions in N.S. regarding minimum age for escorting. (caveat: of course, I am not a lawyer.)

(caveat: of course, I am not a lawyer.) A well known escort agency used to place ads in the paper when hiring new ladies. If I remember correctly it read "Now hiring - 19+" Combined with the fact that they checked ID's of both the ladies they hired, as well as patrons, and the fact that legal age for the consumption of alcohol / tobacco is 19, I assumed one must be 19 in order to partake. Again, this information is accurate only as far as I am aware. If this is not the case, then I stand corrected.
Guest cour**eyw** Report post Posted July 22, 2010 I've seen 18 yr olds..but i've never checked id..so as far as i know- they could've been 16 or 17. but that fine as far as i know- ya, cuz they're calling me, and i'm not much older...preeety sure thats fine. Whats the difference in real life anyway? If i were to fuck a 16 yr old as a 21 yr old...? I fuck people over twice my age almost daily...and thats where it really does get tricky. who can really draw the line? and at where? cuz a 16 yr old girl, with a 21 yr old boy- that'll fly, but take that age difference to, wherever...hopefully we're all able to use a computer, clearly, so we should all be capable of differentiating between the two...i'm pleasantly surprised when asked for id, but i feel out of line asking others for there's.
