1963Kennedy 10698 Report post Posted March 2, 2015 A recent article from Montreal talked about MP's and the fact that the new mayor had wanted to get rid of them but now has softened his position. Perhaps he talked with the police. It would seem the police are content to leave them alone as long as: a. no minors, b. don't force women to do anything they don't want to do, c. no organized crime, d. no pimps, and e. no drugs. Women/men activity will never go away so lets keep it safe (police thinking?). Keeps things off the street, women (in parlours) have almost immediate help if there is an issue ( so many other people around-girls are not alone in the MP most of the time and have "protection systems") and it seems women are happy working there. Sounds like a win win situation to me. As soon as the police try and shut things down, we'll have girls back on the streets and in danger. Status quo please.

whiteman 14028 Report post Posted March 4, 2015 Montreal has been a bit more liberal towards massage places for a long time. I think the new laws are being ignored big time by all provinces so far. Keeping my fingers crossed.
