Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted March 18, 2015 You have to wonder what type of society we are living in when a 9 year old boy with Autism was handcuffed by police at his school after he had an outburst ... something that to my limited knowledge is not all that unusual with children with Autism. I would have thought in today's school environment protocols would have been in place for this child to safely deal with these type of issues without putting the child through the trauma of having to be restrained and handcuffed like a criminal... he is nine?? I don't no all the details as i only caught a short clip on the news a few minutes ago so I may be missing something but shame on us for not having the proper supports in place for the student... the teacher and the school. http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/parents-demand-ottawa-school-records-of-autistic-boy-who-was-handcuffed-1.2285207 Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
