I genuinely just had a no show, "I'm in the area" and I texted the address/apartment number and he didn't show up, but this is some backpage guy- think I'm done using backpage, it has the most pimps/spiteful workers-people. I wish I had read this thread before going through that nonsense AGAIN, this is four in a row. I am so siiiick of it, I may start asking for deposits beforehand from anyone. Jesus. actually ig someone short notice you like this tell thm you need 15 minutes give them only eiher cross streets or te uilding address noting else. make them phone you voice to voice for more. one tip is donot put your full location in writng if possible. and do not see anyone who refuses to talk to you. a lot of texts can get lost too. dont assume they received them al. a phone call cant mistake the info given. some gys get off on the idea of making you wai knowing yey arent serios. no idea why. dont give tem any info about your location until they call back saying hey are in a location you sent them to. also cancelations are a good thing it means someone took the tme to tell you they arent coming. what you are seeing is no shows and address collectors.
