I wouldn't really doubt neighbouring city numbers... 647 is a Toronto/GTA area code. Like 514 is a Montreal one... it just means the particular lady is touring.

 

252 seems a little sketchy though.

<p>A lot of area codes are numbers from texting applications. Maybe they have a cell phone plan in their personal life but want to use the same phone without giving out their own number. Why they don't use a local 613 area code if even they are using a texting app and touring is beyond me.

Some of the texting apps charge you a fee if you want a specific area code so if you want it free you take whatever they assign. That said there are lots of free options that allow you to pick your area code.
